Disease Models for Fruitgrowers:

Our FieldGuard Rain Collector Station is also available in combination with a leaf Wetness and Temperature / Humidity sensor. The combination of these sensors make the FieldGuard Rain Collector Station suitable for use with disease modeling software packages like RIMpro or VitiMeteo. RIMpro disease models are often used in orchards were farmers grow apples and pears, but RIMpro can also be used for grapes. VitiMeteo is a disease model that mainly focuses on grapes.

Data from the FieldGuard Rain Collector Station at your location is combined with weather forecast data and then send to RIMpro or VitiMeteo and used to calculate disease pressure. The calculated disease pressure is then send back to our Tracis Web Portal where the prediction for outbursts is shown in a graphical way (see graphs below).
